The MARCOA Intranet was redesigned and rebuilt in October of 2006. I wanted to generate company excitment and increase involvment in the web by improving their daily user experience. One of my goals was to create a front-end flexible enough to drop in a new style sheet and change the look and feel every month, contributing to a more fun work environment.
The backend was completely cleaned and reorganized making the site easier to maintain and easily scalable. Tools were written so that employees in different departments could easily update information on the site. Along with my team of 2 developers, we rebuilt the site in less than a week. It was a successful project and continues to be fun as we add new features.

The Office and Industrial Real Estate Guides provide a valuable resouce for the industry professional. Users can find information about companies, individuals, and services involved in the local commercial real estate industry. These sites utilize an extensive real estate database where brokers can easily search property listings using broad or specific search criteria.
This was my first large scale project that I was involved in from concept to completion. I focused on seperating the structural markup from the presentational and wrote the entire front-end for a total of 5 real estate sites. I even had the opportunity to travel to Dallas and speak directly with some of the brokers and web users to gather feedback and suggestions. It was a great experience!
